Our son used this bicycle from 7 to 10. Now he is too tall to use it and has taken over his sister's mountain bike that looks identical.

If your son or daughter is between those ages, this would be a good bicycle for them to ride around on. It's a tough little bike and light. The frame is made of aluminum.
